Does a great job cleaning both carpets and hard floors. Love the retractable cord. Wish it had come with a brush-type attachment for the hose.

This is by far the best vacuum I have ever had. When I used it the first time it looked like I had cleaned my carpets professionaly.I have pets & 3 teenage boys, and this vacuum can keep up with all of it!!!The attachments are great and I love the cord retracter. I just bought a Bissell for the upstairs for about the same price and it doesn’t even come close to the performace of the Hoover. Don’t even bother looking around, because you will not find a better vacuum for the money or otherwise!!!!

The vacuum worked very well but unfortunately, after the first use of the vacuum the belt broke. The vacuum was a gift to my daughter for Christmas and I was disappointed that it had stopped working. Over the phone, I told her to check the belt or up inside the vacuum to see if there was a blockage as it was not picking up except through the tools. She was able to repair the item right away since she had alsHoover 5507-900 Elite Auto-Rewind Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleanero received 2 belts.

Ever since we purchased this vacum, my sneezing & post nasal drip (PND) has gotten better. Anytime I sneeze more than 3 times my fiance uses this vacume to clean the apt & my sneezing & PND improves.

The belts break easily. Also after a while the thing just stopped working. I opened it up but couldn’t figure out what the problem was.
