What can I say, the Panasonic MCUG471 is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. I just used this particular model for the first time today and my carpets look brand new. The stair tool works beautifully with a lot of suction. The cord reel feature is definitely a big plus too. It’s a bit on the hefty side but not cumbersome. I have a previous model Panasonic vacuum that’s 8 years old, still runs great but the cord’s been repaired(my fault for winding it up the lazy way) so many times its become a hazard, lol. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone with kids & pets. YAY!!! Amazon rocks for their awesome prices too!!

This vacuum has proven to be a great investment. I had back surgery and this vacuum is not too heavy for me. I like the fact that the tools are on the vacuum and that there is a retractable cord. I have used Panasonic vacuums for about 15 years. This is the best one yet.

I had a Panasonic for about 15 years and it still works but not as good of suction as I need. I trusted Panasonic and am happy with the product. The only dislike is the attachment hose which is too short for some things I like to do. It is a bit clumpsy but I am hoping that as I use it more and more it may loosen up a bit. A good machine and the price is right. I would purchase the more expensive Panasonic if I had carpet throughout my house but only have it in the bedrooms now so don’t need a super duper vacuum.

this is my 3rd panasonic. love them. this one works just as well as the others. it is ALL plastic (as noted in other reviews), but i’m optimistic about it holding up.
